In December of 1998, Jason A. Gonsalves, joined Joe A. Gonsalves & Son. That provided Joe A. Gonsalves & Son the proud distinction of being the first California lobbying firm to have three generations of legislative advocates working on behalf of their clients, which continued until Joe passed away in July 2000. Jason has successfully represented our clients before the Legislature and various state agencies in the areas of local government finance, utilities and commerce, public employee’s retirement, workers’ compensation, telecommunications, and conflict of interest issues.

Luke Schafer is part owner of BRMS and was named Vice President in January 2010. His key focus is driving company growth by maintaining strategic partnerships, overseeing business development and new sales nationwide. Luke started his career at BRMS 15 years ago and through his diverse positions within the company, has become an industry expert in self-funding, employee benefits administration and healthcare technology.
Luke graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. He is a member of the Society of Professional Benefits Administrators (SPBA), the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), Self Insured Institute of America (SIIA), and Health Care Association of America. Luke is also an avid philanthropist sitting on many advisory committee within his community and implemented Work for A Cause at BRMS.

Christopher has been one of the Greater Sacramento area’s leading loan officers for over 20 years. His areas of expertise include FHA, VA, and conventional loans as well as specialty loan programs for HomePath and HUD homes. In his free time, he teaches homebuyer workshops and seminars. Christopher’s decades of experience in the mortgage industry and his commitment to customer satisfaction are qualities that make him an invaluable member of the Sierra Pacific Mortgage team.

Anthony Romano serves as Chief Revenue Officer of First American Mortgage Solutions, a primary provider of collaborative and customizable data, analytic, valuation, title, settlement and fulfillment solutions for loan origination and servicing. In his position, Romano is primarily responsible for aligning the company revenue strategy with corporate objectives including what markets to enter, what clients to serve, what solutions to build, and what distribution channel to utilize.
Prior to First American, Romano spent 10 years at CoreLogic Inc., a leading data and analytics company most recently as SVP Global Mortgage Solutions. There he was responsible for a group with over $1 billion in revenue.
During his career Romano has held sales & marketing leadership roles and business development charters with IBM, International Business Systems, and CustomerLink Systems.
Romano holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Sacrament State University.

During his twenty-five year long career in the Hardwood Lumber Industry, he started several companies and took them to be very successful, multi-million dollar companies. Scott is a very well respected, key player in his industry. He is currently employed as a Materials Consultant for Royal Plywood, Inc.
Scott graduated from CSU, Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
Scott and his wife Margarita of over 21 years have two young sons and reside in the city of Folsom.
